Reverse Laminar Airflow
CRESCENDO make Reverse Laminar Airflow Bench finds a major application in sampling and dispensing. Majorly used for mixed airflow stream to control the hazardous emission of dust powder during dispensing or sampling process.
Dust air particles are being filtered and clean air stream is provided in the zone of exposed product and the operator breathing zone. The RLAF is designed to provide Class 100 working environment at rest with built in scavenging system to ensure product, operator as well as surrounding environment protection.
Technical Details
- SS 304 / CRCA powder coated construction except Filters and motor-blower assemblies which will be in standard execution.
- Minipleat HEPA Filter with hot melt technology, which conforms to EU 13 Grade, with an efficiency rating better than 99.99% for 0.3 µ at exhaust position.
- Prefilter, which conforms to EU 4 Grade, with efficiency of 90% down to 10 micron. These Filters are basically made from micro-Fibre-glass washable media.
- Intermediate filters which conform to EU 7 Grade, with efficiency of 95% down to 3 micron. These Filters are basically made from micro-Fibre-glass media and are inherently washable.
- Motor Blower provided are statically and dynamically balanced to supply air flow with sufficient capacity and static pressure for entire life of HEPA. Blower is high performance, noise abated and light weighted.
- SS 304 Double Walled Side Panels.
- Magnehelic Differential Pressure Gauges (0 - 25 mm) to monitor pressure drop across intermediate filter & HEPA filter; and (0-10mm) to monitor pressure drop across Prefilter with respect to ambient.
- Fluorescent Light (250 Lux)
- ON/OFF Switches for motor & lights
- Electrical control panel mounted on the side panel of the unit.
- 5/15 Amp single-phase switch socket for external equipment.
- DOP Test port at upstream of HEPA filter to personnel for carrying out the HEPA Filter Integrity Test.
Site Requirements
- Client to ensure that floor is properly leveled; so that the equipment is installed with covings flush with the floor to avoid any gap.
- The unit will be provided with 3 mtr. Long cable. In case of wall mounted or remotely located control panel, provision of any electrical cabling required from unit to control panel & control panel to the ON / OFF switch will be in Client's scope.
- Client to confirm the location of supply pendant to enable us to decide on the entry of main cable in the unit to avoid any loose from projecting out.
- Concealing of electrical cabling (if so required ) is in Client's scope.
- Any electrical cabling required between control panel to the supply point is in Client's scope.
- Client to provide facility of 20 psig compressed air / nitrogen cylinder any compressed gas not harmful to personnel for carrying out the HEPA Filter Integrity Test.
